Exhibitions

Sea Change
Works inspired by the Sea at Prestongrange
3 May – 30 June 2008
At the Powerhouse at Prestongrange

“Sea Change” is a sensuous and powerful exhibition of sculpture and mosaics by Susheila Jamieson. The exhibition takes its inspiration from the coast around Prestongrange and Cockenzie Power Station in East Lothian and alludes to the impact of climate change. The sculptures evoke patterns in nature - waves, ripples and sea movements.

Paper Boats
31st May – 9th June 2008
In the Visitor Centre at Prestongrange

Last year 1000 paperboats were on display at Morrison’s Haven, created through Prestonpans, Prestonpans Infants, St Gabriels, Cockenzie and Longniddry Primary Schools. We are hoping to repeat and build on this success and create a more spectacular sculpture this year in the grounds of Prestongrange Museum and in the Visitor Centre. Boats by local and noted artists will also be auctioned and on display.
