Ceramics from famous local potteries such as Belfield, West Pans and Mak’merry are displayed alongside pipes, bricks and sanitary ware produced on an industrial scale at Prestongrange. During this workshop, pupils will take part in a guided tour around the exhibition, highlighting the processes used to create such pottery, the raw materials used in production and the famous designs which made their way around the world.
